It's happened to every psychic, running into a boyfriend or girlfriend who is intimidated by our gifts and heads for the hills as soon as he or she realizes how powerful we can be. Every woman has intuition. Chances are that you've found yourself in a situation where you know your partner better than he or she does! How can you carefully navigate a situation in which you know exactly what your spouse will say or do next?
One piece of advice is an old one but a good one: "I messages." Instead of focusing on what you know your partner is doing or feeling or thinking, let the words come out of your mouth in a way that expresses how you feel about it! For example, instead of saying, "I know you don't want me to go out with my friends tonight," you can say, "I feel sad when I'm unable to see my friends, and it would make me happy to visit with them tonight." In that way, your partner will feel empowered to help your needs, rather than startlingly disempowered when the realization sinks in that you can read him or her like a book!
A harder piece of advice to follow is to expect the unexpected. If you think positively about your partner, he or she will be able to rise to meet the challenge! Getting out of a cycle of resentment can be easier said than done, but if you consistently send positive messages to your partner when he or she is acting, thinking or feeling the way you want, your partner will thrive off of the appreciation! This sort of positive reinforcement works on all pets including dogs, cats and husbands!
